More About Me

The Full Story

I

have spent most of my working life in magazine and book publishing, developing long-lasting relationships with authors and agents. That experience laid the foundation for the work I do now as a ghostwriter and publishing consultant.

As a professional ghostwriter and editor of more than 100 published titles, I guide clients through every stage of the book development process, from idea to finished product.

With decades of experience and fluency in today’s digital publishing landscape, I help authors bring compelling stories to life while navigating both the technical and creative demands of publishing.

I stay current with industry-standard style guides, including The Chicago Manual of Style (17th Edition) for book publishing and The Associated Press Stylebook (56th Edition) for news and periodicals.

My services support nonfiction authors, including memoirists, biographers, and thought leaders, with:

  • Ghostwriting and Collaborative Writing

  • Manuscript Development and Coaching

  • Editing (Developmental, Content, Copy, and Proofreading)

  • Publishing Support (KDP, IngramSpark, Audiobooks, and more)

  • Book Positioning, Structure, and Launch Strategy

More About Me
Mission

Mission

Gone are the days when publishing houses maintained full teams of editors to fine-tune manuscripts. In today’s publishing environment, the responsibility for creating a professional, well-structured book often falls to the author.

But authors should not have to carry that burden alone.

My mission is to act as a collaborator and guide. I help writers focus on their story while ensuring the finished product meets professional standards, earns reader trust, and reflects well on the author’s platform, whether in print, digital, or audio.

10-Value Pledge

My pledge to clients is to uphold what I have found to be the 10 core values for excellence in nonfiction editing and publishing:

  1. clarity,

  2. honesty,

  3. discernment,

  4. factual accuracy,

  5. stylistic consistency,

  6. grammatical correctness,

  7. a sense of order and organization,

  8. time sensitivity,

  9. humanity, and

  10. integrity.
